Peanut Cups


2 tbsp corn syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup 'Kernal' peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
2 tbsp melted butter
2 cups of crispy rice cereal
1/4 cup finely chopped 'Kernal' peanuts (unsalted or salted)
3 oz semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 cup 'Kernal' peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
2 tbsp melted butter
Whole peanuts for garnish

1. Combine corn syrup, 1/4 cup peanut butter, brown sugar and butter.
2. Stir in cereal and chopped peanuts.
3. Press into the bottoms of 12 well greased muffin cups.
4. Bake at 375 for 5-8 minutes.
5. Cool for 5 minutes and remove from pans.
6. Melt chocolate over low heat. Blend in remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter and stir over low heat, until smooth
7. Spread into cereal cups, spreading almost to the edge.
8. Garnish each cup with whole peanuts.
9. Chill, covered, until serving.
